Janu    Basti

Janu Means: Knee    

Basti Means: Holding

Janu Basti is one of the best and most effective Ayurvedic therapies provided to heal acute to chronic knee-related disorders. Also, it can be administrated to healthy individuals who care about the prevention of various disorders. Our knee carries our entire body weight and is under constant stress throughout the day. Kati    Basti

Kati Means: The Waste Area   

Basti  Means: Holding

Kati Basti is an Ayurvedic oil therapy for the low back. This treatment consists of organic flour, made into a dough creating a reservoir that is placed over the lumbar spine and sacrum. Organic warm medicated herbal oils are poured inside the reservoir, concentrating the healing benefits of the oil where you need it most. You will be left feeling deeply grounded and relaxed.

Griva Basti

Griva Means: Neck

Basti Means: Holding

Griva Basti is a neck therapy that can also be done for the shoulder. This treatment entails medicated oils that are poured and pooled for a fixed duration of time in a compartment constructed over the neck or shoulder.

Swedana

Swedana Means: Sweating

Swedana promotes sweating to enable detoxification. Swedana helps in detoxification and reestablishing the balance between Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in the body. The sweat glands are one of the sources that eliminate toxins from the body. The thousands of sweat glands, when stimulated can help in mobilizing the toxins in the inner layers of the skin and muscles, getting rid of them. This benefit makes Swedana a critical preparatory procedure of the Panchakarma treatment.

Netra    Basti

Netra Means: Eyes    

Basti Means: Holding

Netra Basti, a lifesaver when it comes to vision and most eye issues, plays a big role in our current time, probably one of the most vital treatments for all people. It has become a daily regime to be in front of some kind of screen and the negative effect this has on our vision is really inescapable unless we put in the work to help heal and prevent it. This is one of the most nourishing and rejuvenating therapies for the eyes. This therapy helps relieve eye strain, inflammation, and dry eye, improves vision, and is used to prevent and treat a wide variety of eye ailments, including poor vision, eye fatigue, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts.

Abhyanga

Abhyanga is the practice of Ayurvedic Massage. It’s also called “snehana” which means “to nurture or love”. This is because the act of massaging oil into the body is an act of love.  Oil is deeply nourishing and soothes not only the skin but also the nervous system and provides support to the immune system. The Practitioner will apply warm Organic oil and proceed with the specific strokes from head to toe.

Pancha Karma

Pancha Means: Five 

Karma Means: Procedures

A comprehensive 5-day mind-body rejuvenation and detox experience that comprises Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Swedenda (steam), detoxifying herbs, and nutritious and delicious meals. It eliminates toxins from the system, rebalances the energies, heals countless ailments, and renews a sense of clarity and inner peace.

Pinda Sweda

Pinda Sweda is a form of sweat therapy used to provide relief from pain and rejuvenate and strengthen the soft tissues, joints, and muscles.  It is prepared with heated herbal ingredients inside a cloth and dipped in warm oils placed in local area or the full body. It is a very effective treatment to help repair damaged tissues, and usually symptoms subside shortly after.
